Sixty-one agrees with me.
In the time since my last posting, I joyfully, took an early retirement from my job of 10-years at Segal Consuting but not before going back to school to earn a degree. Looking at how fast the grannies were growing, I didn't think it was right for Nana to harp on the importance of having a college degree and not have one herself!
So, online I went with the University of Phoenix. Online education isn't for everyone but it worked for me. My major was Web Design, and I enjoyed online learning since I would use computers in my next Encore Career (for Boomers not ready to go out to pasture yet!).
Umpteen months later (about 2 1/2 years), I successfully completed my college studies and earned an Associate Degree in Web Design in 2012. I walked across the stage in 2013 at my commencement to pick it up! (Not really. It was mailed to me in 2012 but that was not going to spoil my graduation!).

I'm still in school going for my Bachelor's degree in Multimedia & Visual Communication in 2014. Not as easy a task as the Associate degree but wonderful to stretch myself and pursue it. I have acquired pro bono work creating a web site for a prominent Native American in the Washington, DC area. This time in my life is full, exciting, and a little scary!
Just the way I like it! Blessings!
